A Little About Me:

Dear Reader,

Hi! I am EmmaLee Miklosovic. I live in a small town in Iowa and work at a parish there as Director of Evangelization. My job encompasses many things, but to put it in a few words: my job is to make sure that my parish is forming intentional disciples of Jesus Christ.

I am new to this job and the position I am in is slowly growing, but as of right now I have a lot of time to sit in my office and think of ideas for helping the members of my parish to become closer to Jesus. I have also found, though, that I have a lot of time to sit and reflect on life, the faith, and myself as a disciple.

I have had a passion for sharing personal reflections for a long time. For years I would post personal reflections on my Facebook to share the ways that the Lord is working in my life. But I want to go beyond just my friends. I want to share the Lord's love to a wider group of people than that.

This is how I have decided to begin that. Obviously it is part of my job to share that with my parish and the people in my town, but I also just love to share these written reflections in a way that I can't share them with just my parish, so I have decided to post them here for whoever wants to see. The Lord does great things, and He is working here and now. My life is a testament to that, as is yours.

So this is my personal blog of the ways that the Lord is working in my life. I hope that you can learn something from this. Maybe you will see yourself in my experiences, maybe you won't. But my hope is that you encounter Christ on this site in a new way.
